sciatic back pain treatment
by: Sarah says

Before I answer that question, it is important for you to read the page sciatica pain treatment You must first understand the difference between 'referred pain sciatica' and 'direct inflammation of the nerve sciatica'. Although the former will do well with BackBlock, the latter condition will not. It is easy for you to establish whether the nerve itself is involved by doing a straight leg raise. This involves you bringing your leg up off the bed, lying on your back. If you can get it pretty well all way up to vertical then it is likely to be referred pain. Having said that, tight hamstrings often limit the leg going up quite that high.
Remember too, that you can do a baby version of the BackBlock by simply lying flat on your back on the floor for 60 seconds before you do Steps 2 and 3 of the BB routine. Best to read the whole routine again here: how to do the BackBlock
