Increasingly in today's world you have to take your own health in hand. With areas of steadily declining health in Western societies it's important to understand for yourself the basic pillars of good health.
Fernleigh Hills, far from the madding crowd
With this in mind, Sarah Key and her team have designed the new Good Health Getaways. These are short, 3 night breaks, full of empowering information about pro-active health and nutrition, far from the madding crowd at the luxurious 'Fernleigh' in the Upper Hunter Valley.
On arrival, guests are shown to their rooms which are as comfortable as they are luxurious with soft duvets and blankets, mounds of pillows and freshly starched sheets. All rooms have their own unique art collection.
Fernleigh is luxury on a small scale, with only 8 guest rooms
Afternoon tea is then served on the wide veranda with views of the surrounding Fernleigh gardens and hills. Our chef, Kim Taylor bakes fresh fare each day and the takes pride in using fresh produce from fruits arbours and potager gardens wherever possible.
Home-cooked scones and cream are a welcome feats after the journey
Afternoon tea is soon followed by our first lecture 'The Basics of Good Spinal Health'. This is similar to the lectures in Sarah's 'Back-in-a-Week' programs
Then comes the all-important 'relaxation and spinal decompression class' from Sarah to ease travel weary bodies out of the crimps and kinks our everyday lives.
